I work with women who are used to being strong, capable, and dependable for everyone else and are beginning to realize that way of coping is no longer working.
Many of the women I support look successful on the outside. Inside, they feel burned out, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, and exhausted from perfectionism, self-doubt, and carrying experiences they have spent years trying to manage by staying busy and achieving more.
I understand this pattern personally. I have also experienced burnout, lack of self-care, and sacrificing my own needs while building my career and showing up for others. For years, I used work and achievement to avoid addressing my own fears and unresolved experiences. I learned that achievement alone and traditional talk therapy were not enough to help me feel truly resolved and well.
My approach is trauma-focused, strengths-based, collaborative, and holistic. I don't just focus on what is wrong. We also work together to recognize the strengths, resources, and resilience you already have, explore what is getting in the way of the life you want, and identify solutions that actually fit your life.
EMDR is one of the interventions I use, particularly when past experiences, fears, or limiting beliefs continue to affect how you feel and respond today. I have experienced EMDR as both a clinical professional and as a client, and it provided a structured approach to process experiences I had spent years trying to manage on my own.
I also recognize that our mental health is impacted by more than just our thoughts. Relationships, work, finances, family responsibilities, physical well-being, and environment can all affect how we feel and function. That is why I take a holistic view of what is happening in your life.
My goal is to help you heal from the past, reconnect with yourself, recognize your strengths, and learn how to show up for yourself while continuing to pursue the success and future you want.
You do not have to keep sacrificing yourself to be successful.
