Private Pay: Services are provided through QuickBooks Intuit, a secure third-party payment platform. We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Pay Later options.
Out-of-Network Billing: Out-of-network billing is available, and superbills can be provided for clients who wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance provider.
HSA & FSA: Eligible services may be paid for using HSA or FSA funds.
Sliding Scale: Sliding-scale payment options may be available for clients who need financial support. Availability is limited and based on individual circumstances.
Healing and Prosperity PLLC is a self-pay only practice. I do not accept insurance directly, including Medicaid. This is intentional.
I chose private pay so I can provide the kind of care high-achieving women need private, personalized, and not limited by insurance rules.
Private pay allows me to:
1. Protect Your Privacy: No diagnosis is required to be sent to your insurance, no treatment plans or session notes are shared with a third party, and your care stays completely confidential between us. Many of my clients prefer this privacy for personal and professional reasons.
2. You Stay in Control of Your Care: Insurance often limits session length, frequency, and how long you can be in therapy. Private pay allows us to use 60 or 90-minute individual therapy, and EMDR Intensive sessions when you need more space, without needing approval or being told you are "no longer medically necessary."
3. Focus on Deep Healing, Not Just Symptom Reduction: Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis and focuses on what is wrong. My work is trauma-focused, strengths-based, and holistic. We can address what you are carrying while also building on your strengths and resources without being restricted to one diagnosis.
4. Flexibility That Fits Your Life: No referrals, no waiting for authorization, and no surprise bills. You can book an intensive without missing weeks of work, and we can meet virtually throughout Colorado.
Yes. Many clients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy.
I make it simple for you:
Check Your Benefits: Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask: "Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health, CPT codes 90837 and 90834, via telehealth?"
We Handle the Paperwork: After each session, I provide a detailed receipt / superbill and invoice through QuickBooks that includes everything your insurance requires date of service, CPT codes, diagnosis code if required, and license information.
You Submit for Reimbursement: You submit the superbill to your insurance through their portal or app. If approved, your insurance reimburses you directly.
My services are also HSA / FSA eligible.
You are investing in private, uninterrupted time dedicated solely to your healing without having to spend years in therapy to gain relief.
Questions about private pay or superbill? I am happy to answer them during your consultation.
